Public Seminars
Each year, Healing Racism in Anchorage sponsors public programs, workshops, and seminars devoted to issues of inclusion, diversity, prejudice, racism, and equity in our community.

American Indian & Alaska Native Heritage Month
Each November a community group coordinates dozens of activities that celebrate Native American history and culture.

Discussion Groups and Credit Courses
The organization sponsors dialogue sessions and credit courses where participants read, watch films, and discuss the effects of racism on individuals and the society. Each group or class is limited to 25
people. The cost includes the purchase of written materials and tuition, if applicable. The next five-week class begins on Thursday evenings, May 15 to June 12, 2008, 6:30-9:00 pm, and will be held at
the BP Energy Center. Click here for information about the next upcoming workshop series.

About every two months a newsletter is sent to more than 600 Anchorage residents. The newsletter describes HRA projects and other local activities related to healing racism. You may read the most recent newsletter here.
